Aging gracefully can be a challenge in this day & age. No matter what steps we take to stop the process, whether we choose to medicate or just ignore it, it happens to everyone, but there are alternatives. Recently I have been looking into what affect the food I eat has on my blood sugar & have found that it varies so much it is hard to determine what is causing spikes etc. Metabolic Syndrome is a a huge problem for most people, especially those who are approaching their 50's. There are things we can do to get our bodies back in balance that do not involve the use of pharmaceuticals. I believe that for every health issue that we face there are alternatives, we just have to be open to many of these new ideas (well truly they are old ideas that have been recycled) and put them into practical application. So far so good on the diet changes on my well being. I encourage everyone to seriously consider what & how they eat. Knowledge is Power.
